Childlike Freedom: Living with Love and Authenticity

A journey back to the blissful authenticity of our true selves

Imagine a life that is completely blissful. You have everything you have ever imagined, and you are living free. When we are babies, even kids, we view life like this and this is love. No matter what life throws at you, if you just show love, that is when you are authentically blissful. If that is where you want to go back, to that blissfulness that keep reading this book.

If you are the kind of person that wants to manipulate every situation then you will learn from this book also because I have been there and in this book I will teach you how to get out of it.

When I was younger and more childish, things always worked out for me, and even if they didn't, or hardly anything affected me. I didn't care about money, I didn't care about whether we lived in an apartment for a big house, nothing mattered. What mattered was how I felt, and I always wanted to feel good.

As I grew up, the world, my culture, and society got to me. I thought that for me to be happy, I needed money that would buy me the name-brand things that I thought people judged me for not having.

Regardless of whether they didn't judged me or not, I became someone that I wasn't. I became someone who wanted money. I am forty years old now, and I am realizing that for me to get back to that blissful life. I need to be who I was authentically, pure love.

Confidence

People have gotten confidence all wrong. Confidence is nothing you do from the outside in, you have it from inside out. It is the way you show up in the world. I can write a whole book on confidence, but I won't be doing that this time. I want to write enough to make you realize that when you are pure love, you don't have to worry about confidence, you don't have to prove to anyone your presence on earth.

You simply exist because you have to. Being your authentic self is what the world needs, not some phony, made-up version of you. You are made in God's vision, you have a part of God in you.

Every person living on earth has a purpose and living in that purpose gives you confidence. Let's make it clear that purpose is not your job, it is the reason you exist. It can be your job, but most of the time it is something that makes you extremely blissful and a way that you can serve others, which in turn circles back to being authentic and pure love.

Confidence for me is being myself. I am very childish. I love being silly, goofy, and being a joy for the people around me. My purpose is to be as joyful as I can.

There are moments when my human comes out and I am not having a good day, but I realize quickly that this is my humanness and that I, who am pure love, am capable of anything my heart desires and that I can quickly change this reality. Confidence was hard for me to get when I started growing up, and I still had it through my twenties and early thirties.

I was always shy and held back. I thought that because I don't "work" a normal job like many people, I am not valuable. I thought that the size of my hips and arms was the reason I should lock myself at home and not get out. But once I realized how beautiful I am, how beautiful my heart is, everything else slipped away.

Confidence for me is staying at home and cooking homemade meals for my family. I graduated with an associate in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu, and cooking is one of my passions, and so is well-being. Therefore, I mostly cook at home. At times it is difficult and I don't want to, but those days we go out to eat.

💝

I have always been one of those people who take dressing up very seriously. I love dressing up and smelling good. I love wearing nice things, but I have realized that I am also a very minimalistic person when it comes to clothes.

I love self-care because it makes me immensely happy from within. I don't do it for others, I do it for myself. I have seen the world put self-care ahead in life, and that is great. Take some time out to take care of yourself in ways that make you happy. However, I would like to add a little twist and say that taking care of yourself is something that you shouldn't have to take time out for.

So confidence comes from being authentic to yourself. From showing up from within, outwards. That is why I think people have confidence all wrong.

Slowing Down

We are not meant to be busybodies. We are meant to live slowly and devour life. If you are not doing that, then who are you working so hard for? The money that is keeping you away from your family? We all are supposed to have what we truly love, but it should be from a place of high energy and love.

However, whatever you want is out there waiting for you to match up to it. Therefore, we let go of being extremely busy and just concentrate on being present, being love, and living authentically.
